Carts, boats and campers

Golf Cart, Boat and RV Detailing in Summerville, SC

The cart you take to the pool, the boat that lives on a trailer and the camper beside the garage all collect pollen, mildew and bugs. We clean them where they sit.

Quick answer

Yes. We detail golf carts, trailered boats, campers and motorhomes across Summerville. Each one has its own trouble spots, like mildew on vinyl seats, a brown line at the waterline or black streaks down an RV wall, so we quote each from a photo and clean it at your home or storage lot.

Do You Detail Golf Carts in Summerville?

Yes, we detail golf carts across Summerville, and most of them live in Pine Forest, Legend Oaks and Cane Bay, where a cart is the second car. A cart detail covers the body, roof, windshield, seats, floor mat, cup holders, wheels and the battery or engine bay cover. Most take one to two hours in your driveway.

Street Rules in South Carolina

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety lists the rules for carts on public roads. Here’s the short version.

  • Stay within 4 miles of the address on your registration
  • Daylight hours only, unless your town allows more
  • Only on roads posted 35 mph or less
  • Driver must be 16 with a valid license
  • Cart must be registered and insured
  • Kids under 12 must wear a seat belt on public streets

We can’t make a cart street legal, but clean lights, reflectors and seat belts do help you pass a glance from Summerville police.

Can You Detail a Boat on the Trailer?

Yes. We clean boats on the trailer in your driveway, side yard or storage lot. That covers the hull, deck, vinyl seats, rails, compartments and the trailer itself. The best time is a few days before a trip to Lake Moultrie, or right after a saltwater run out of Charleston Harbor.

Hull and waterline

That brown line where the hull sat in the water comes off with a hull cleaner, then we wash and protect the gelcoat.

Topside

Deck and nonskid

Nonskid traps dirt in its texture. We scrub it with a deck brush and a cleaner that won’t leave it slick.

Seating

Vinyl and cushions

Pink and black mildew spots show up fast in our humidity. We clean the vinyl, then add UV and mildew protection.

Metal

Rails, cleats and trim

Stainless and aluminum get polished so water spots and light corrosion don’t spread.

Storage

Lockers and livewell

We empty, rinse and dry compartments so they stop smelling like last month’s bait.

Under it all

The trailer

Fenders, frame and wheels get rinsed, which matters most after a saltwater ramp.

One more reason to clean the hull and trailer after every trip. South Carolina’s aquatic plant managers ask boaters to remove weeds before moving between lakes, so plants like hydrilla don’t hitch a ride from Lake Moultrie to the next ramp.

Campers and motorhomes

Do You Wash and Detail RVs at Home?

Yes. We wash travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes where they’re parked, as long as we can walk all the way around and reach the roof safely. An RV wash covers the roof, walls, awning, windows, wheels and the front cap, which takes the worst of the bugs on Interstate 26 and Interstate 95.

  • Roof scrubbed, which stops the black streaks at the source
  • Black streaks removed from walls
  • Bug remains soaked and lifted off the front cap
  • Oxidized, chalky fiberglass polished on request
  • Awning cleaned and dried before it rolls back up
  • Interior cleaning available, same as a car

How Long Does It Take, and What Changes the Price?

Size and condition decide both the time and the price. A cart is a short job. A 30 foot camper with a chalky finish can take most of a day. We don’t post a flat price, because a boat that’s rinsed after every trip and one that sat under pines all winter are different jobs.

How it works

What We Need at Your Home or Storage Lot

Our van carries water and power, so a cart or small boat needs nothing from you. A big RV can use more water than our tank holds, so we may ask to top up from your spigot.

  • Room to walk all the way around
  • Covers off and compartments open
  • Permission from the storage lot or HOA, if they require it
  • For boats, drain plug out and gear stowed

Many Summerville HOAs limit where boats and campers can be parked, so some owners keep them at a storage lot. We work there too, as long as the lot allows it. See how our mobile detailing setup works.

What We Don’t Do

  • Boats in the water. We only work on boats that are on a trailer or lift.
  • Bottom paint, engine service or gelcoat repair. A marine shop handles those.
  • RV roof repairs or resealing. We clean the roof and tell you if we see cracked sealant.

And if your cart only has a week of dust on it, a hose and a soft towel will do. Save us for the mildew and the baked on stuff.

Quick answers

Cart, Boat and RV Questions

Do you come to boat and RV storage lots?+

Yes, if the lot allows outside vendors and there’s room to work around the vehicle. Ask the lot office first, since some require proof of insurance. We’re fully insured and can send that over.

Is it safe to wash an electric cart?+

Yes, with care. We use low pressure, keep water away from the charger port and controller, and never flood the battery bay. Battery tops and terminals get wiped by hand instead of sprayed.

Can you get mildew off boat and cart seats?+

Usually. A vinyl safe cleaner and a soft brush lift most mildew spots. Pink stains that have soaked into the vinyl can fade without fully leaving. We add a protectant afterward, which slows mildew from coming back in our humid summers.

Do you detail side by sides, jet skis or motorcycles?+

On request. Tell us what you have when you ask for a quote, and send a photo. If it’s on wheels or a trailer and we can reach it safely, we can probably clean it.

How often should a golf cart be detailed?+

Every two to three months for a cart that’s used most days, and always once pollen season ends. Vinyl seats mildew fast in our humid summers. A cart that sits under a carport from May to October needs its seats cleaned and protected more often than the body needs washing.

Does a boat need washing after a freshwater trip?+

Yes. Lake water still leaves a brown line on the hull, and South Carolina’s aquatic plant managers ask boaters to remove weeds before moving between lakes. Rinsing the hull, trailer and livewell the same day keeps both problems small. After a saltwater ramp, rinse the trailer and its brakes first.
